This refreshing Tropical Pineapple Lemonade Punch combines fresh pineapple and lemon juices with a touch of sugar and sparkling water to create a perfectly balanced, fruity beverage. Ideal for warm days, this punch is garnished with fresh pineapple chunks, lemon slices, and mint leaves for an inviting and tropical presentation.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh pineapple juice
  • 2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 10–12 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 cups club soda or sparkling water

Garnish Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup lemon slices
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Select and prepare pineapple: Choose ripe pineapples that are slightly soft and fragrant. Cut off the top and bottom, then peel off the skin, removing all eyes.
  2. Blend pineapple: Chop the peeled pineapple into chunks and blend until smooth. For pulp-free juice, strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a large bowl or pitcher.
  3. Squeeze lemons: Roll lemons on the countertop to release juice, then cut and extract juice using a juicer or hands, removing any seeds.
  4. Combine juices: In a large pitcher or bowl, mix the fresh pineapple juice with the freshly squeezed lemon juice thoroughly.
  5. Add sugar: Stir in granulated sugar continuously until fully dissolved; this may take a few minutes, especially if the mixture is cold.
  6. Add water and chill: Pour in cold water, stir well, cover, and refrigerate for 1-2 hours to meld the flavors.
  7. Optional quick chilling: Alternatively, add ice cubes directly to the punch for faster chilling, noting it may dilute the flavors.
  8. Prepare for serving: Remove punch from refrigerator, stir gently, then slowly add club soda or sparkling water to keep carbonation, stirring lightly.
  9. Garnish punch: Add fresh pineapple chunks, lemon slices, and mint leaves to the punch bowl for color and aroma; add ice cubes if desired to keep chilled without diluting too much.
  10. Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes if preferred, pour the punch including garnishes into each glass, and optionally rim glasses with sugar by rubbing lemon around the rim and dipping in granulated sugar.
  11. Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy the tropical flavors with friends and family.

Notes

  • Use ripe pineapples for the best natural sweetness and flavor.
  • Adjust sugar quantity based on the sweetness of your fruit and personal preference.
  • Straining the pineapple juice results in a smoother beverage without pulp.
  • Adding ice cubes directly chills quickly but may dilute the punch over time.
  • Rimming glasses with sugar adds a decorative and sweet touch to each serving.
  • Fresh mint leaves enhance the aroma and presentation but can be omitted if unavailable.
