Ingredients
Mango Puree
1 large mango
Latte Base
1 teaspoon matcha powder
1 cup oat milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For Serving
Ice cubes
Instructions
Prepare Mango Puree: Peel and pit the ripe mango, chop into chunks, then blend with a splash of water on high for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
Layering: Pour the mango puree into the bottom of a tall glass, allowing it to settle and create a golden layer.
Add Ice: Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes, leaving space for milk and matcha.
Mix Matcha: Whisk 1 teaspoon of matcha powder with 2 tablespoons of warm water in a small bowl until frothy and smooth.
Add Milk: Gently pour oat milk over the ice until the glass is nearly full, then slowly drizzle the whisked matcha over the back of a spoon for layering.
Serve: Add a splash of vanilla extract or preferred sweetener, then stir gently or leave layered for visual appeal.
Notes
Use frozen mango if fresh ripe mango isn't available for convenience and flavor.
Maple syrup can substitute vanilla extract for added sweetness.
Any plant-based milk like coconut milk can replace oat milk depending on preference.
To avoid clumps, sift matcha powder before whisking if needed.
