Nourishing and delicious Raw Cacao Hazelnut Overnight Oats made with rolled oats soaked in almond milk and enriched with raw cacao powder, sweetened naturally with maple syrup, and topped with crunchy hazelnuts and fresh fruit for a healthy and easy breakfast.

Ingredients

Base

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond milk or your choice of milk

Flavorings

  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch of sea salt

Toppings

  • ¼ cup hazelnuts, chopped
  • to taste fresh fruit for topping such as bananas or berries, optional

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, raw cacao powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir until all the ingredients are well mixed and the cacao powder is fully incorporated.
  2. Divide and store: Divide the mixture into two mason jars or airtight containers, sealing them tightly.
  3. Refrigerate: Refrigerate the jars overnight or for at least 4 hours to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.
  4. Stir and adjust consistency: In the morning, give the oats a good stir. If they are too thick for your liking, add a splash of additional milk to reach your desired consistency.
  5. Add toppings and serve: Top with chopped hazelnuts and your choice of fresh fruit before serving. Enjoy your nourishing Raw Cacao Hazelnut Overnight Oats!
